E&O started in Elgin, Illinois with a single truck and a simple idea: pay drivers what they're worth, put them in the newest equipment, and never let them wait on a dispatch call. Today we run 800+ of the latest Volvos across 48 states — with our own full-service shop in Huntley, IL.

The Story

One truck, one driver, one Illinois broker list. That's how it started in 2013.

By 2016 we had twenty trucks — enough to prove the formula worked: treat drivers with respect and appreciation, keep the equipment new, pay every week without fail. Word moved faster than freight. The fleet doubled, then doubled again.

In 2023, at 400 trucks, we opened the Huntley shop & yard. The math was simple: a truck in someone else's bay is a truck not earning. Bringing maintenance in-house cut downtime in half and gave drivers a service team that knows them by name.

Today E&O runs 800+ of the newest Volvos and more than a thousand drivers across 48 states — from our headquarters at 745 Tollgate Road in Elgin and the shop & yard in Huntley. Same lion, same standard, more miles.

The fleet grew. The promise didn't — excellence in every way.

Fleet crosses 400 tractors and we open our own shop & yard in Huntley. Full-service maintenance in-house; downtime cut in half.
